WHO WE ARE

ACMC works under guidelines prescribed by Philippine law and an Operations Manual constituted by the ACMC Board.

The Technical Working Group is composed of core officers and working under two different councils. These are the Executive Council, which manage the activity of the Organization in the international level; and the Legislative Council, which manage the activity of the Organization in the country level.

The Technical Working Group has the following duties and responsibilities: (a) serve as the technical arm of the ACMC, (b) convene in a separate and regular meeting to report and discuss the progress of each Council, (c) provide progress reports to the ACMC on the planned activities and as the need arises, (d) help provide the necessary work direction set out by the ACMC and assist in ensuring the coordinated realization of goals and objectives, and (d) attend in other institutional meetings and linkages as the need arises .

ACMC boasts of a truly pluralistic membership from all over the country. In fact, the organization maintains a policy wherein no two officers should come from the same university.

THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL is the administrative and implementing arm of the ACMC. The officers are elected by the members of the Executive Council and Country Directors during the Asian General Assembly or appointed by the Members of the Board. Officers in the Executive Council will serve for one year and can be re-appointed for two years upon the recommendation of the Board based on performance and active participation in the Organization. Also, they can be re-elected for the second term only.
