MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Institutional membership
Is open for universities and colleges in the field of mass media and communication, and language education. An official application form for institutional membership will be filled-in by the representative of the Institution and must follow the procedure written in the form.

The Secretary for Media Education and/or the Secretary for Communication Education will soon recommend the application to the Executive Council after the evaluation of the applicant.

After its approval, a certificate of membership will be delivered to the applicant and can now enjoy the benefits as member of the Congress.

Individual membership
Is open for faculty of mass media and communication and language education. An official application form for individual membership will be filled-in by the applicant and must follow the procedure written in the form.

The Country Director and/or the Secretary General will then recommend the application to the Executive Council after the evaluation of applicant.

After its approval, a certificate of membership will be delivered to the applicant and can now enjoy the benefits as member of the Congress.

Associate membership
Is open for students --both undergraduate and graduate -- of mass media and communication and language education AND non-communication/language professionals. An official application form for affiliate membership will be filled-in by the applicant and must follow the procedure written in the form.

A Legislative Council Officer and/or any member of the Congress will endorsed or recommend the application to the Secretary for Public Relations. Associate members cannot be elect or be elected for officership.

After its approval, a certificate of affiliate membership will be delivered to the applicant and can now enjoy the benefits as member of the Congress.

  • discounts of representatives in all Congress simulation activities
  • exchange scholarships and team teaching among member Institution
  • activity for professional development of faculty
  • opportunity for refereed journal for faculty
  • scholarships for students, lecturers, and practitioners of media and communication
  • update on academic discussions through access of the web site
  • invitation to participate and/or present a paper in all Congress simulation activities
  • invitation in sponsored student or faculty academic competition
  • other benefits that the Executive Council will announce

Individual and Associate membership

  • opportunity for the member to be elected in the Legislative Council
  • priority in full payment of some sponsored Congress simulation activities
  • discounts in all Congress simulation activities
  • opportunity to published research works
  • scholarships and grants
  • update on academic discussions through access of the web site
  • invitation to participate and/or present a paper in all Congress simulation activities
  • other benefits that the Legislative Council will announce
